Behavioral Questions by Theme
Capital One's Power Day closes with a values and behavioral round, and these are the questions it reaches for, grouped by the theme each one is really scoring. It runs in STAR shape and is graded against the company's two values, Excellence and Do the Right Thing. The interviewer works through several prompts in the slot, then drills hard into the specifics of each, so the grouping below maps every question to the value it is actually testing. Answer for that, not for the surface wording.
The list looks long, but five stories carry almost all of it. You need a project you drove past the bar you were handed, and a time you flagged a risk or refused a shortcut. Add a disagreement you worked through to a shared call, a mistake you owned in the open, and a project you steered while the priorities kept moving. Build those five first and put a real number on each, and most of the prompts below already have an answer waiting behind them. The lone exception is "Why Capital One?", which needs its own prepared, specific answer.
