Behavioral Questions by Principle
Every Rippling loop ends on the behavioral round, and it is built around a set of ownership-first cultural themes rather than a published numbered rubric. The hiring manager leads it, often with a second manager or a senior engineer alongside, across forty-five to sixty minutes. What follows groups the kind of prompt each theme invites, with a note on what each one is really testing. Walk in with a story ready for every theme rather than guessing at the wording on the day.
Six stories cover every theme. Pick a project you owned from a blank page to launch and can defend decision by decision. Add a time the evidence changed your mind and a disagreement you took to someone's face. Then add a fast call made without the data you wanted, a team you left better than you found it, and a result you pulled off with far less than it needed. Build those six first. Put a real number on each. Most of the bank below already has an answer waiting behind it.
