Behavioral Questions by Theme
The company you interview with under the name X is, for hiring purposes, xAI. Since the 2025 acquisition the engineering loop belongs to xAI, and that shapes what the behavioral round is looking for. There is good news for your prep here: there is not much of a behavioral round to prepare for. The loop is overwhelmingly technical. Fit gets read in two short places: the first call with an engineer, and a brief hiring-manager conversation near the end. Neither goes deep on values the way an Amazon or an established lab does. So this lesson is lighter than the behavioral chapter of a values-heavy company, on purpose. The overview lesson covers how the round is run; this one is the question bank and the stories that answer it.
