Meta Behavioral Interview Questions
These are the questions Meta's behavioral round asks. An interviewer runs through five or six in 45 minutes, then follows up hard on each until the time is gone. Below, they're grouped by the focus area each one scores, the trait the interviewer is grading you on. And they rhyme. A disagreement with a teammate, a time you went against your manager, a decision someone senior pushed back on: all three are doors into one story about conflict.
The list looks long, but the prep is short. Five stories cover all of it. One story about driving a fuzzy project to launch answers four questions on its own: proactivity, ambiguity, drive, and leadership. Build the handful of stories first, and whatever phrasing the interviewer reaches for already has an answer waiting.
Each group names the focus area it scores and the Meta value it maps to. For how the focus areas and the six values fit together, see the behavioral round breakdown. Rehearse every answer in STAR shape, spoken start to finish. Keep it near two minutes. Weight it toward what you did and the result, and say "I" far more than "we."
