CS Fundamentals & Network Security
About half of every Zscaler technical round happens with the editor closed. You answer questions out loud about how a computer, an operating system and a network work. It carries a large share of the grade. It's also where candidates trained only on interview-style algorithm problems most often wash out. This lesson is the study resource for it: the recurring questions, with a model answer for each, in the order interviewers tend to walk them. Name the thing, explain the mechanism, then reason about what breaks when it fails.
The battery covers three bodies of knowledge. Networking and security is the deepest and the most Zscaler-specific, so it comes first and gets the most room. Operating-systems internals come next, concurrency and memory in particular. C and C++ internals, the memory model and the object model, fill out the rest. Work them in that order. Networking is where the interview stops being generic, and where a security-native answer beats a strong generalist.
